What is coaching?
The concise answer: Coaching is a conversation, or series of conversations, intended to enrich and empower the coachee to achieve a desired outcome. New awareness and "Eureka"s often supports this, but should not be the holy grail.
Coaching is backed by the study of human change psychology and is proven to work. Coaching can also be creative and inventive, depending on the agreement and chemistry between the Coach and the Client.
What usually happens in a session?
Just like any other conversation (not a therapy) !
In this 2-way dialogue, Coaches are trained to ask purposeful questions at opportune moments within the conversation. They should not feel out of place, though some questions are challenging and require the Client to confront their internal "saboteurs".

The Coach will support the Client in discovering deeper roadblocks that are often psychological in nature. The exchanges from the session usually leads to a tangible step, bringing the client closer to their desired outcome.
How long; How frequent?
The length of the engagement depends on the nature of the project.

For example,
Preparation for a big presentation in 4 weeks' time: Weekly sessions over the next 4 weeks.

Performing beyond expectation in a newly promoted role: Fortnightly, 7 sessions over 3 months.

The rhythm and scope is to be discussed and mutually agreed prior to engagement.
What are your fees?
Session rates range from SGD 450 - 850.

This is dependant on the overall project length, add-ons, and other factors.

Once-off sessions are more pricey, and ironically, not as effective in creating positive, sustained change.
